Freddie Wilde is an analyst at the cricket analytics company CricViz – working with broadcasters and professional teams around the world. Freddie started his career as a cricket journalist, specialising in the Twenty20 format. He built a large profile on twitter, and originally managed his workload alongside studying for a degree in politics at the University of Cardiff. On graduating, Freddie moved into cricket data analysis and now lives in London. Freddie’s most recent book Cricket 2.0 charts the rise of the T20 format from a gimmick to the modern face of the sport. Freddie co-wrote the book with Tim Wigmore, and it was published by Polaris in 2019.

Simon Wilde has been the cricket correspondent of the Sunday Times since 1998 and has covered more than 260 England Test matches, 12 Ashes series and six World Cups for the paper. He has also received wide acclaim as author of 11 books several of which have been shortlisted for awards. The most recent of these, England: The Biography 1877-2018, a history of the national cricket team, has been reprinted several times and was described by Peter Oborne in The Spectator as “an important work of scholarly synthesis which establishes Wilde as one of our foremost cricket historians”. Copies of the book were presented to members of the England squad by the team management on the eve of the 2019 Ashes series and will be given to each future player when they make their debuts.

Jonathan Wilson is the founder and editor of the critically acclaimed football quarterly The Blizzard, and is one of the UK’s most successful writers of narrative sportsbooks. His latest book, Two Brothers: The Life and Times of Bobby and Jackie Charlton, was published by Little, Brown in August 2022. He has ghosted books with Kenny Dalglish, John Barnes and Steven Gerrard which was named sports book of the year and spent four weeks at the top of the Sunday times bestseller list. He is a judge for the Ballon d’Or, and was named in the Debretts 500 most influential people in the country. His brilliant analysis of English football, 50 Years of Hurt: The Story of England Football and Why We Never Stop Believing, was published in June 2016 by Bantam Press. Most recently he assisted Michael Carrick in writing his autobiography, Between the Lines, for Blink Publishing.

Writing for publications like Queerty’s NATIVE SON and the Swedish English-language Krull Magazine, Erick Taylor Woodby is committed to composing diverse stories and histories that chronicle the lives of individuals making a difference. Erick is the creator, host, producer, and blogger for the top-ranked Our Black Gay Diaspora Podcast, a biweekly platform where he interviews Black LGBTQ professionals who share about their countries and professions. In over 95 episodes, 25 countries have been represented.
Erick’s interest in creative communication extends to learning languages. He’s proficient in conversational Spanish and basic Swedish. Since 2008, he has visited Botswana, Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Mexico, Latvia, Norway, South Africa, Spain, and Sweden.
Currently, Erick is co-authoring a project for Orion Publishing Group to be published in Summer 2025. As a burgeoning writer, he looks forward to more literary collaborations.
